Woods-N-Waters Campground Pool Policies

Pool policies are established and required by the Bartholomew County Health Department for the operation of a pool in a campground and serve to provide a safe and healthy pool for your enjoyment.

Pool Policies

  • All guests shall use the restroom prior to entering the swimming pool area. Please refrain from urinating in the swimming pool; instead, use the bathhouse/restroom as necessary.
  • All guests using the swimming pool shall take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool.
  • Any guest(s) having or reasonably suspected to have any considerable area of exposed tissue, cuts, contagious or communicable diseases (i.e. cough, cold, open sores, blisters, bandaged wounds, fever, inflammation of the eyes, nasal or ear drainage, etc.) shall not be allowed to enter the swimming pool.
  • Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose and other similar behavior(s) in the swimming pool area are strictly prohibited.
  • NO RUNNING, Jumping, DIVING, or ROUGH PLAY permitted in the swimming pool and bathhouse areas. Diving is strictly prohibited in the swimming pool at all times.
  • Glass and/or hazardous objects shall not be permitted within the swimming pool and bathhouse areas.
  • ALL children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • No guest shall bring or throw into the pool area (including floors, walkways, aisles, or dressing rooms) any object that may in any way carry contamination or endanger the safety of another guest.
  • Any guest suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited from entering the swimming pool area.
  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn. Street clothes are not permitted inside the swimming pool at any time. No shorts or cut offs allowed.
  • Smoking (including the use of electronic smoking devices) is prohibited in the swimming pool and bathhouse areas and within 25 feet of all public entrances.
  • Pets/animals (with the exception of service animals) shall be prohibited within the swimming pool and bathhouse facilities.
  • The pool shall not be operated during severe weather conditions (i.e. electrical storms, tornadoes, etc.) Swimming pool may be closed at the discretion of management due to unusually cold or unpredicted weather.
  • ALL babies, children not toilet trained, and adults with incontinence problems MUST wear swim diapers at all times.
  • Only soft pool toys allowed in the swimming pool.
  • Use shower in swimming area for intended use only.
  • Pool is restricted to registered campers only. If you are a guest of registered Campers, the following fee will apply: $3.00 for adult (age 17 and up); $2 for child (age 4-16).
  • GUESTS USE THE SWIMMING POOL AT OWN RISK. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
